You Never Have The Right To Copy Any DVD Movie

SoftwarePiracy This week a verdict was handed down to Real Networks killing fair use and personal property in America. The ruling was was about whether users should be able to make copies of content that they legally own. The ruling stated that coping DVDs that you own is illegal. The suit was filled against Real Networks for there RealDVD software which ripped thru protection technology to allow  users to make copies of their legally-owned content. RealNetworks has plans to release a DVD drive and software called Facet which will make the process even easier.

What do you think about this? Do you think you should have the right to copy DVDs that you have bought. Do you think that more people use this software to illegally copy DVDs or do they use it  the way it was intended to be used by making legal copies of DVDs that you own. RealNetworks has suspended sell online of these products, but I expect an appeal to be coming next week. What would you like to see happen with this case?

Twikini – Windows Mobile Twitter Client

I have looked and looked and used many different Windows Mobile Twitter clients and could never find one that I was happy with. I have a HTC Touch Pro running Windows Mobile 6 and I have found the best twitter client for Windows Mobile devices. Twikini has many excellent features and uses all of your phones capabilities.  Twikini is written entirely in C++ so it gets great performance. Posting a tweet has never been easier with Twikini, it gives you a full screen editor an also lets you set your location right from the tweet page.

Twikini also has great Twitpic integration allowing you to post pictures straight from your phone to Twitpic and when someone tweets a picture to Twitpic you can view the picture right from within Twikini. Windows Media Player works great with Twikini allowing you to auto tweet the song and artist your listening to. Twikini offers 3 URL shortening services including Bit.ly, TinyURL, and Digg.
